        As blind residents of Marion County, KY.  we are reaching out to others in our community and the surrounding communities in trying to gain more supporters for a local (multi-county) support group.  We are currently meeting one time a month at the Marion County public library.  For more information and meeting times see the group calander link.
 
        We are also in contact currently with the Ky president of the National Federation of the Blind in hopes of the creation of a local chapter of the Federation serving Marion and the surrounding counties.
       
       Our goal is simple:   First is the fact that there are many visually challenged (blind) people around us that are not even aware of the support and training that is provided that we would like to share with them.  These services are very relevent to every day living.  Secondly, is to increase the publics awareness on blindness, and last but not least to be a support structure for one another for the simple fact that no one knows what obsticales we face better that others who have a common condition.
 
      We also welcome the friends and family of the blind and visually impaired or anyone who is just wanting to support or to obtain more information on blindness.
  
     In a nutshell, we are here to listen, share our knowledge, and to share our experiences in dealing with our blindness.  We know there are others around our area and world wide who have been and are going through the every day challenge of just getting by due to their blindness and visual imperfections and we would love to here from you and with your permission we would love to share your story with others who may be struggling for the hope I know we once and from time to time still struggle for.  Please send your story to sharemystory@fmcoppage and It will be posted on this site.
  
     Feel free to share this site address with anyone you know who might be interested and feel free to contact any of us on our contact us page.  We have been through the battle with blindness and are still going through it and we know how important support for one another is.  We ask not for finances but for friends.
      
 
 
        Como ciegan a residentes de Marion County, KY. Tendemos la mano a otros en nuestra comunidad y las comunidades circundantes en el tratar de ganar a más partidarios para un vecino (multicondado) grupo de apoyo. Encontramos actualmente un tiempo un mes en la biblioteca de público de Marion County. Para más información y tiempos que se encuentran ver el grupo calander eslabón.
 
        Estamos también en el contacto actualmente con el presidente Ky de la Federación Nacional del Ciego en esperanzas de la creación de un capítulo local de la Federación que sirve a Marion y los condados circundantes.
      
       Nuestro objetivo es simple, Primero es el hecho que hay muchas personas (ciegas) visualmente desafiadas alrededor de nosotros que no somos hasta conscientes del apoyo y formación que es a condición de que nos gustara compartir con ellos. Estos servicios son muy relevent hasta cada día viviendo. En segundo lugar, debe aumentar la conciencia de públicos en la ceguera, y último, pero no lo menos, apoyar el uno al otro para el hecho simple que nadie sabe que obsticales afrontamos mejor que los otros que tienen una condición común.
También damos la bienvenida a los amigos y la familia del ciego y persona corta de vista o alguien que quiere sólo apoyar u obtener más información en la ceguera
     
      En una cáscara de nuez, nosotros debemos escuchar aquí, compartir nuestro conocimiento, y compartir nuestras experiencias en relación con nuestra ceguera. Sabemos que hay otros alrededor de nuestra área y por todo el mundo quiénes han sido y pasan por el cada desafío de día de sólo pasar debido a su ceguera e imperfecciones visuales y amaríamos a aquí de usted y con su permiso amaríamos compartir su historia con otros que pueden luchar para la esperanza para la que conozco nosotros una vez y de vez en cuando todavía lucho.  Por favor envíe su historia a sharemystory@fmcoppage  y será fijado en este sitio.
